The Arab Knowledge Report 2009 examines the state of knowledge in the Arab Region. It derives its legitimacy from the pressing need for information about knowledge performance in the region at a time when the importance of knowledge – for the realisation of the many new prospects it has opened up for all areas of society – is increasing.
